Ganga River is the combination of 6 Rivers at different places called Pancha Prayagas in Uttarakhand.
6 Rivers:
- Alakananda
- Thouli Ganga
- Nandakini
- Phinder
- Mandakini
- Bhageeratha
- Alakananda River starts from Himalayas near Tibet Border towards Rudraprayag passing through Badrinath Temple. Alakananda River merge with Thouli Ganga River at Vishnu Prayag.
- Alakananda River merge with Nandakini River at Nanda Prayag
- After Nand Prayag Alakananda Travel towards Karn Prayag and merge with Phinder River.
- After Karn Prayag Alakananda River merge with Mandakini River at Rudra Prayag, Mandaikini River it comes from Kedarnath Temple.
- Alakananda River became Ganga River at Deoprayag Alakananda River merge with Bhageeratha River at Deoprayag, from here the River called as Ganga River.
